This is a 3-week childbirth preparation series; however, classes can be taken separately or as a series.
In this unique series, we use prenatal and restorative yoga, as well as a variety of simple breathing practices and visualization techniques to support the relaxation of our bodies for birth. Our exploration includes birthing positions and movements that allow the deep pelvic, hip and core muscles to become juicy and soft, making way for a more easeful, connected birth. These techniques are very effective at supporting a gentle opening of the vagina and pelvic floor, in addition to encouraging the optimal position of baby.
Students are invited to come with questions. Partners are welcome to join and experience the practice, but are not required to attend. This practice is ideal for anyone with a breech baby.
