Co-taught with Britt Fohrman and Rachel Yellin. Hypnotic Restorative Yoga combines Depth Hypnosis and restorative yoga, bringing you to a whole new level of healing relaxation, insight and emotional wellbeing.
During this workshop, Britt Fohrman will instruct you through a sequence of heavenly restorative yoga poses, while Rachel Yellin, a Hypnotherapist and Depth Hypnosis Practitioner, guides you on a unique journey towards the wise and knowing part of yourself. On this journey, you will have the opportunity to inquire into how you can achieve the transformation, clarity or healing that you’re seeking.
Drawing from elements of Buddhism, hypnotherapy, shamanism, energy medicine and transpersonal psychology, Depth Hypnosis is a rapid path of transformation developed by Dr. Isa Gucciardi. It offers an opportunity to achieve profound and long-lasting results on a spiritual, emotional, and physical level. While in hypnosis, a person is fully aware of his/her surroundings and completely in control of him/herself.
If you are new to restorative yoga, this practice uses supported poses, breath awareness and simple meditation techniques to restore health and vitality to the body and mind. Deep relaxation assists the body’s natural ability to cleanse, heal, rest, sleep, grow, conceive and build immunities.
This workshop is open to yogis of all backgrounds, levels, sizes and ages. No yoga experience is necessary.
The deep surrender cultivated here is incredibly useful for pregnant women preparing for birth, women trying to get pregnant, new parents, people with chronic illnesses, headaches, and discomfort, as well as people that tend to nurture everyone but themselves.

RACHEL YELLIN is a certified Hypnotherapist and Depth Hypnosis practitioner. She teaches a variety of yoga classes including pre/postnatal, ropes, yoga for anxiety and depression, and restorative yoga. Rachel also teaches HypnoCentered Childbirth Education classes in SF and Marin.
BRITT FOHRMAN has taught yoga since 1997, with a foundation in Iyengar yoga and specialties in Restorative, Therapeutic and Prenatal Yoga. Her style of teaching emphasizes individualized alignment, meditative focus and breath guided movement and is infused with levity, compassion and honesty.
